As part of the yearlong celebration commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl season, many members of the World Championship team will be appearing at the Taste of Chicago on Wednesday, June 29th.
Expected to appear at the 1985 World Champions booth (across from the gourmet tent hosting Ditka’s restaurant) and throughout the Taste are Brian Baschnagel, Kurt Becker, Jim Covert, Shaun Gayle, Dan Hampton, Jay Hilgenberg, Dennis McKinnon, Emery Moorehead, Jim Morrissey, Thomas Sanders, Calvin Thomas, and Otis Wilson.
The 1985 World Champions will be interacting with fans, and signing autographs on limited edition hats and t-shirts featuring their new 20th anniversary logo. Partial proceeds from the merchandise sales will benefit three charities: After School Matters, the Walter & Connie Payton Foundation, and Misericordia.
