A coach of expertise, having tutored virtually every position in football, LaRue’s knowledge has paid dividends for the Bears’ defense which has ranked among the best in the NFL…LaRue joined the Bears in 1978 after serving two seasons as an offensive assistant with the Buffalo Bills. Prior to entering the NFL in 1975, he was an assistant coach at six major colleges and a successful head coach at the University of Arizona.
